Our Story

Ask any mom of a son with a fabulous bigger sister, boys want pretty nails too. Nail polish is not a gender specific product as it’s been so heavily marketed and culturally normalized. Many of our top male pop-icons wear polish as a statement of confidence, anti-culture and avantgarde —and it’s been so for decades. In the climate of now, the norm is what you make it, so we feel it’s time to remove the stigma around dudes wearing polish. At Dude Paint, we see nail polish as an expression of personal identity and creativity. Dude Paint was solely conceptualized and created for my son and his emotional and physical wellbeing in mind: product transparency and safety, colors and pallet sets that reflect my little dude’s style all while embracing his freedom of expression. Be part of our movement to create a more inclusive, gender irrelevant product, free of preconceptions and social stigma.
